Each unit ships as a flat-pack kit built on the Boxway Aluminum SIP system — a structural insulated panel construction method used in modern homes — and assembles on prepared footings in approximately three days. The Garden Room Series starts at $19,990 USD ($25,990 CAD for the 118; $28,990 CAD for the 158) and is reserved online with a $100 refundable deposit. Garden Rooms serve as backyard home offices, gyms, studios, lounges, meditation rooms, kids’ playrooms, guest sitting areas, and small-business workspaces for homeowners across the United States and Canada.

Two sizes. Same construction.
The Garden Room Series comes in two sizes built on identical Boxway Aluminum SIP construction: the Garden Room 118 (118 sq ft, often permit-free) for tighter backyards, and the Garden Room 158 (158 sq ft) for more room to spread out. One shell, many lives — home office, studio, gym, lounge, hobby room, kids’ activity space, or a private backyard retreat.

In plain English: a SIP — Structural Insulated Panel — is a sandwich of insulating foam between two structural skins. It’s the same idea as a refrigerator wall, scaled up for buildings. Modern homes increasingly use SIPs because the panels are stronger, faster to assemble, and more energy-efficient than traditional stud framing. Boxway is our aluminum-skinned variant — the aluminum outer skin handles weather better than plywood or OSB, doesn’t rot, and gives the Garden Room its modern, clean exterior.
